A perfect adventure for anyone over ten years of age, the Haleakala Skyline Tour has something for the whole family. Our specially trained staff will outfit you with a customized seat harness and equipment before leading you into the woods, and on to the adventure.

The tour starts with a walk through the woods in beautiful upcountry Maui, then gets your heart-pumping as you sail across each of our ziplines, and get a bird's eye view of the seasonal waterfalls and vegetation below. Take part in this one-of-a-kind adventure, and bring home memories of an experience that you'll talk about for years to come.

Skyline was voted Hawaii Eco-Tour Operator of the Year 2004 by the Hawaii Eco-Tourism Association, reaffirming our direction and vision for creating a business that can serve our island as well as our customers. Beyond conservation, Skyline is committed to developing an extremely safe and well-researched zipline tour industry. To this end we regularly redesign equipment and safety test our equipment and course. What we learn is then applied on our tour, to ensure maximal comfort and safety for our guests.

Safety

Skyline's top priority is the safety of each and every person who takes part in the
Haleakala Skyline Tour. All aspects of our course and every piece of our equipment
is held to the highest standards of safety.

All equipment used by Skyline Eco-Adventures meets or exceeds all industry standards
for safety, with each cable tested to hold well over 14,500 pounds!

Working to build upon current safety standards for all ziplines. Skyline conducts constant
research & development, and we maintain an open dialogue with engineers and gear
manufacturers working to build upon current safety standards for all ziplines. The
result is a tour that allows you to feel confident as you step off the edge of cliffs,
and soar over the treetops.

Restrictions and Recommendations:

1. Customers MUST weigh between 80 & 260 lbs.
2. Customers MUST be physically able to hike 1/2 mile at elevation over uneven terrain.
3. Customers must be 10 years or older, all customers under 18 must have a legal guardian sign for them.
4. No pregnant customers.
5. Customers must wear close-toed shoes
6. Customers need to arrive at least 15 min. prior to their tour's departure time.
7. Customers should wear long pants.
8. Customers with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or Chronic heart problems should use their own discression about their capablities to safely participate in this activity. Although we try to always make customers comfortable both physically and mentally, some degree of
impact on joints or some degree of customer anxiety about zipping is unavoidable.
9. We have a 24 hour cancellation Policy. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour to recieve a full refund.
