Drums of the Pacific

The Hyatt Regency Luau - Drums of the Pacific
Welcome to the Drums of the Pacific Luau at the Hyatt Regency Maui, on beautiful Ka'anapali Beach! Settle in and wait for the sound of the conch shell to blow, signaling the audience to turn and gaze across the horizon towards another fabulous sunset, and also view the uncovering of the traditional roast "kalua" pork from the underground "imu" oven!
After the master of ceremonies greets you, prepare for a traditional Hawaiian prayer blessing, in tune with the crashing of the southern swell upon the coastline. This will come before the succulent all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet which features traditional Hawaiian luau favorites, island specialties, and other delectable desserts!
As you enjoy the wide variety of foods, prepare for a fast-paced and entertaining show aptly named "Drums of the Pacific!" The cast of dancers will captivate you in their tale of the the first Hawaiian islanders’ migration to these islands.
As the evening winds down, be sure to sink in to your chair and savor the cool trade winds rustling the trees overhead and beckoning you to watch the fantastic fire-knife dance by Chief Fa'a, one of Hawaii's most dramatic, entertaining, and crowd-pleasing masters of today! A truly great Hawaiian luau.
